Our friends at Netbooknews have just run a comparison between the video recording capabilities of the Motorola Xoom, iPad 2, and Acer Iconia Tab A500. Which machine records the best footage? The results may surprise you.
While the iPad 2's specs look worst on paper (Both the Xoom and Iconia have a 5MP rear-facing camera, compared to the iPad 2's 0.92 MP rear-facer), Apple’s tablet actually records noticeably better footage. This might seem counter-intuitive, but the Android tablets have cameras optimized to take better still photographs, and the needs of a good photo are far different from the needs of a good video.
